The cordless phone by Belkin does not require a PC and works anywhere in the world where you can get a WiFi connection. Register online with Skype for a free account and away you go. Calls are free to other Skype phones and calls to normal phones are at a reduced rate.
Measuring about 4.5″ x 2″ x 5/8″ (11.5cm x 5cm x 2cm), the Belkin phone is about the size and weight of an average open-faced phone. The phone interface is uncomplicated and the Skype functions are easy to navigate with the center-control toggle.
