Perhaps the greatest perk that comes with being a travel consultant is having the opportunity to visit exotic destinations all around the world … and consider it part of your job! I’ll be leaving for Tahiti on Saturday afternoon, a 7 1/2 hour flight on Air Tahiti Nui from Los Angeles. After two nights in Papeete, we’re off to Bora Bora, pictured to the left.
Is French Polynesia beckoning you as a tropical destination? A nonstop flight to Tahiti takes only 2 1/2 hours longer than a flight to Hawaii. And if you live on the west coast, the flights are ever more convenient than those to the Carribean (which usually require an overnight stay in Miami on your outbound flight … and returning through U.S. Immigrations in Miami, one of the more hectic points of international entry).
