There is something about a hotel with a porch that just seems cozy. The “home away from home” experience is nicely balanced with a luxurious dining and accomodations. In-room amenities include flatscreen TV with cable, telephone, complimentary wine and locally-made chocolates, climate control, Frette linens, Kiehl’s bath amenities, Bose clock radio, radiant heated bathroom floors, warming towel racks and a hair dryer.
The Hotel has both wireless and hard-wired internet access, and the connection is complimentary to guests. iPod audio docking systems are available upon request. Continental breakfast is included in the room rate and is served daily.
The hotel opened in the 1880s, folks like of Ogden Nash, Mae West, Babe Ruth, Robert Frost, Andrew Carnegie and three American presidents.
